I produced following short film titled, "Uncle, Please Take My Snap," using thousands of images collected throughout the two months I spent in Sierra Leone, West Africa during the summer of 2007. Combining time lapse motion, stills and text, my intent is to take the viewer on a brief yet jostling journey on a school bus through the recent history of civil war, the capital city of Freetown as well as the countryside villages of the Banta Mokelle chiefdom. The bus stops from time to time providing visual encounters of the continuing progress being made by Children of the Nations, International.
If you are interested in a speaking engagement involving this film and other stories of my trip, feel free to contact me for availibility.
